FAQ/Tips

What shirts work best?

  • according to the vinyl I use, it should work on any shirt as long as it doesn't have a high percentage of NYLON in it.
  • I recommend washing any shirt first prior to application but I find this very critical with shirts that are 100% or have a very high percentage of cotton.
  • Really stretchy shirts or ribbed shirts don't work as well.  Needs to be a flat surface that you are ironing on and vinyl doesn't stretch so it's going to look funny when the shirt stretches and the vinyl doesn't.
  • I have wonderful luck with any technical/wicking type shirts or those quit dry athletic cotton type shirts.
What happens if I screw something up during the application process?
  • Its happened to all of us, especially during the first couple times you do it, then it becomes old hat and you could do them in your sleep, but if you mess something up (ie the logo, not the shirt, can't help you there) just send me a message and we will try to work something out.  I can't take responsibility for user/application error, but I can normally at least get you a replacement at cost.
  • I always include pretty detailed application instructions in what I send to you (unless you are a repeat customer and I'm assuming you've got this by now) and they are always listed here on the site.
How long should it take before I get my order?
  • Typically orders can be turned around in 2 weeks or less.  Normally it doesn't take that long, just depends on the size of the order, complexity, etc.  Custom orders sometime take longer.
  • Also, I do have a full time job, a three year old and a husband, so life does get in the way sometimes ; )
  • I order vinyl over lunch on Monday's and Thursday's, so if you want to ensure that what you order can be done as soon as possible, if I don't have colors in stock, then try to order prior to those two times.  It typically only takes 2 days to get to me unless they have something backordered.
